About the event

Angell International Night is an annual event where the Angell community comes together to celebrate the school’s rich ethnic diversity. It is the largest event of its kind in the school district. Here is what you can expect this year:

  • Parade of Nations: Angell students parade with the flags of their countries of origin or heritage and many of them wear traditional clothing.

  • World Market: Visit tables representing various countries and cultures where you can learn more about history, music, art, and crafts.

  • World Buffet: This potluck style buffet lets Angell families and staff sample dishes from around the world.

  • Classroom Displays: Prepared by Angell students and teachers, these displays showcase the students’ research on various countries, world regions, and international topics.

See this presentation for more information and view photos from last year’s event here. The photos from 2017 International Night are courtesy of Angell parent, Marcin Szczepanski.
